I have been struck by the bad luck fairy yet again !

My '91 GMC Suburban - old body style, 4 wheel drive with the solid front axle, ugly but reliable , was stolen tonight out of my buddie's driveway - he was borrowing it.

Stupid scumbags broke the window to get in - a '91 can be gotten into w/o breaking anything if you have a clue as to what you are doing, but some thieves are better at their "trade" than others ...

At any rate, it's a '91 4 X , medium blue metallic w/ a rusty hood & roof - as I said, ugly, but reliable , w/ aluminum modular wheels and a dark blue cloth interior.

Texas tag # 2XVX61 - of course, it has a July '07 registration sticker that I just bought & put on ...

If you see it, let me know, and be sure to tell me what bore size the gun was that you used to put a hole thru the windshield - and the thieve's - head.

I like trivia like that.

Britt, do you have a pic? Also, what part of town was it stolen in?

Fondren & 59 , to be more precise. As of 2:44 A.M. , there was EZ-TAG activity in the Pasadena area - I am going to call the Pasadena Police and see if they have any more interest in this info than HPD or the Constable's Precinct that I called did.

No pics online anywhere , and none here on the work PC.

Big ol' blue GMC 4 X Suburban , though, w/ the sloped nose ( think P/U from '81 - '87 ) , a little whiskey dent on the driver's quarter panel back by the cargo doors, and a NRA sticker on the front windshield.

And , it will have a broken wing window on the driver's side - I doubt they were dumb enough to pop the main window.


But, I could be wrong.
