Houston LT1 Engine Builders
Hey everybody, I'm about to do a pretty stout little 355 LT1 in my 97 Z and need to know what shops in Houston (or maybe Dallas, SA, etc.) specialize in LT1s for machining and assembling the bottom end. It seems all the big names are now LSx shops primarily. I know they COULD do the work, but I've heard a lot of stories about them halfassing LT1s so they can put more time into LSx projects.
So the question is, any shops that are renowned for their work with LT1s that will still put the time and effort I deserve into the work?
