Houston Cruises
I'm trying to get some Fbods out of the garage and go on a cruise out of Houston, maybe about an hour or an hour and a half drive somewhere, theres been a lot of interest on some other boards but we really dont have a destination yet, I'm new to Houston so I dont know whats around here yet, shoot me some ideas on any locations you think would be cool, last time I went on a cruise we had an awesome time with about 30 cars showing up, people were pulling over and letting us past, taking pictures, a boy scout troop were clapping, it was a really good time.
All depends on when , of course.
A neat drive is to the Lawrence Marshall car auction in Hempstead - but, that's probably not as far as you would like.
Galveston would be an option - not much East I can think of unless you went all the way to the gambing casino (Coushatta) in LA.
That's like 3 - 3.5 hours, though.
North an hour & a 1/2 will get you to Huntsville - my college stomping grounds.
Another option would be up to A & M - Huntsville people could easily make that , and we could meet some of the board Aggies live & in person.
West = ??
Unless you go to San Antone or stop before that in New Braunfels , I dunno of any good stops along the way.
Food for thought - feel free to comment, poo poo, or modify as need be/the mood strikes.

Hey Britt, theres a larger crowd from a couple other boards, last time we had a whole lot of cars meeting up, it was awesome, but they dont really cruise far enough if you ask me but concensus rules I guess, I think a casino cruise would be fantastic. I10 is always fun, I'll run that by some folks too, thanks for the input bro.

Since nobody (that I know of ) drinks fake beer, I'm set !!
Of course, there is always Natural Light (pretty good, actually
), Black Label, Pearl, Schaefer , ...The really cool thing is that as you are supplying all the gas money I plan on WOT launches off every light, and plenty of 65 to 100 MPH runs , braking, and then repeating the process.
My personal worst MPG has been like 11 something - I plan on bettering (worsening ?
) that on your pocketbook.
Man, I love hanging w/ rich friends !!
Later !
Me
If I was rich, I wouldn't be making ## second passes! And my beater would be running. From what I can tell so far, there should be a cool turnout, I can't wait. Just make sure you can bring a digi camera, the photo ops are numerous and spectacular. More to come.
OKAY, Saturday the 15th of November, cruise to Sam Houston Park, meet around 11, most likely have the Fox and Hound crew meet up for the southsiders and then cruise north to meet up with the northsiders at a predetermined location and then get our drive on to the Park, how does that sound??
There will be a lot of cool azz people meeting up from multiple message boards and local friends. I'll print up maps if needed and we can all meet up.
