I'm new to the site and I was just wondering if there are any get-togethers that go on monthly or anything in the area?

There are quite a few in different areas, kind of depends on what crowd you want to hang with. I usually go to Sam's at I-10 and hwy 6 on Saturday nights (resto rods, few f body's, vette's and muscle cars). There in one on 249 that is supposed to be awesome on Sat nights, there is westheimer and wilcrest on Wed nights (street racing), and then there are a few on the south side I'm not familiar with. I think most are Saturday night.

No way! wow I used to go up there years ago, I didn't know they were still hanging out up there. Do they still go racing afterwards. I got my 1st ticket in the ta going out w/ them for drag racing...ahh memories.

As far as I know they do (Still race) I haven't gone to it cause it is a far drive for me etc...

 

I'll never forget the sound of over a dozen radar detector's going off at the same time...haha.
