hot street?
anyone here get any work done at a shop called Hot Street in burleson? its a nice shop with fair pricing, but i was wanting some feedback before i let anyone touch my Z28. i was planing on having headers installed. they said they could get me coated pacesetter headers with high flow cats installed for 950.00. any feedback would be appreciated
not to smash on these guys but they are like less than 10mins from my house. so naturally when i was putting my setup together i needed stuff so i went over there to order stuff that the usual parts store wouldnt know much about. i needed a few an fittings and stage 8 header bolts. so i had to find the part number for them b/c they didnt too much know about an fittings soo... when i went to pick up my stage 8 bolts they were for a LS motor not a LT so they sent then back and i didnt get the ones i wanted in the end. ended up giving the bolts to my ole man for his camaro build. over all they didnt seem to know alot about performance. i would call it a audio shop that sales go fast parts. i asked about dyno tuning and some wide band pulls and they didnt even know what a wide band was... never heard of FAST XFI or LT1 edit. needless to say i wouldnt let them work on my vehicle but i would buy from them. they are nice people though.
dude if you are in that area when i get back in a month we can do those headers in my ole mans garage on the lift.

thanks guy's i appreciate all the offers for help, but there was another reason i was asking. i really wanted a honest opinion of this shop because when i was in there they offered me a job. im kinda sick of writing service for toyota and i think its time for a change.
dude if you know what you are doing jump on the chance to work with them. who knows you might end up giving them a great name and bringing alot to the table. its a fairly new shop so im sure they will need all the help they can getting off the ground. from what i saw they need more knowledge.

Too easy to install. I live less than a block from an exhaust shop that can weld the rest up for you.
