help with coolant lines

The coolant line that i have not sure if it's the only one or not but it runs into a metal tube at one end and at the other end it comes over a metal tube and is kept on by a clamp. I need to replace this line. Does anyone know what i'm talking about and if you do how much does it cost to get replaced?

Where exactly is it? I don't have much f-body experience, but I don't think it would be that hard if it's just a coolant line.

Cool

Interesting description... But I still have no idea which hose you are talking about...

Might want to post in the appropriate Tech section, too.

Good luck!

Sounds like you're talking about the heater core lines. They are opposite the passenger side manifold, right? If so, you have to replace the complete metal assembly. Maybe you could get the correct size rubber hose, cut it to fit, and clamp it?

Its really difficult to get an idea of what you're describing. Anyway for you to get a pic?
