head porter

Can anyone suggest a local head porter in the dallas area? For older heads not lt1 or ls1s.Someone who you know can do a great porting job.Must have a flow bench. And does anyone know what the cost is for a full port job? What kind of power increase have you seen from porting heads?I have a set of dart iron eagle platinums that need some porting done,THANKS.

Yes but from what I hear he's backed up.I need them done pretty quickly.Every person alive knows LE's reputation but I dont know to much about Kim Barr or Wells or E.T. Automotives rep.I hear James Morgan or rhyer/morrison are great too but what is the word on the street about our local head builders/porter.

Trevor and Watt used to have shops beside each other and are still freinds as far as I know. Both seem like good people to me but you are correct, neither one will bend over backwards to gain a customer or job since they are so good at what they do and are always swamped with work.

I am not sure what deal was going on with you guys or any specifics on what happened there but the few dealings I have had with Watt were all good to me and I ended up happy.

Watt is now north of Rockwall in Lavon. He built a shop on his land by his house and cut down the overhead whiule making himself more accessible to his wife and new born.

I met Lloyd several years ago before anyone knew who the hell he was; great guy - if I still had a car worth modding he'd be my choice.

A good friend of mine had Trevor do his LT4 heads and I think he did some stuff for his old Viper as well - in any case he had very good results all around.

I also used Lloyd back in the day when he first started getting into the LT-1 world...I have the same heads he ported for me on the car to this day and have been very pleased with them..
Thanks Lloyd!
