Yes, I have dealt with them for 5 years. They are a very reputable store. The have a store front with a small showroom. It is mainly an internet after market suppler.
I call all the time and they answer their phone every time. There is no answering machine, so the phone is not answered when they are closed. I Believe they are open Monday thru Friday 10:00-5:00.

They keep a few items on display at the store, but have everything on the premises in the warehouse.
In today's Market conditions, manufactures are slowing in delivery product to supplies.
Mail address works fine: tech@racenet.net

My experience with them was bad. Read the above thread and you'll get a better idea of the general consensus. I would never order anything from them again but that's just my personal opinion.

wow sounds like a lot people had problem with the shipping and stuff. that's why i asked if they had it there in the store so i could walk out with the actual item instead of having to wait for shipping and stuff. thanks for the heads up on not to order from them!
luckily the items i want are just small items like another whisper lid and some spark plug wires. i hope they can at least get that right. thanks again!

No problem. I guess if I was in the store and they SHOWED me that they actually had it in stock, I'd buy from them. I wouldn't order over the phone or online, though. Again, just my opinion. I hope they treat you right. I'm sure they try to please their customers. Let us know how it goes.

They took forever to get me my CAI, after emailing them 4 times and making 2 phone calls, I finally put a post on this board about how they were screwing around with me, a couple days later I got my CAI.
Can't recommend them as far as service over the phone goes.
thanks a lot. ive tried calling them too and still dont answer. has anybody tried i think the place is called MTI??? they do work on vettes and camaros too. any experiences there?? thanks a lot
Be careful!
I called before-hand to check if they had a shifter in stock. I was told "Yeah, we should have some in stock." Obviously, I should have told the guy to get off his tail and look to make sure, but that was my fault I guess
. Made the trip over (70 miles roundtrip) and guess what...no shifters in stock
Tried them again with a clutch. Setup up a clutch install time/date. Go over and drop the car off. Get a call 4 hours later. "Mr. Rutherford, we don't have the clutch in stock, you may come pick your car up now."
Do not buy from them. They are a joke. I would not buy from them if it meant waiting longer and paying more to get a part. I won't support that kind of service.

lol okay judgeing from all the responses ill take my business elsewhere. it's a 3 1/2 hr trip for me. ill see what MTI has to offer because i want a full tune up on my car since i bought it used. i kinda like having the feeling that i got it tuned up so i should not have problems (which i know I will). so has anybody heard about the? thanks again for the lookout on this company. at first i thought finally a close enough shop for me to get some more mods going. thanks again
any other recommendations in the houston or sa area for mods shopping??

btw..Don't go to racenet.net!

Honestly, I would check out MTI for LS1 stuff. However, I would talk to Jayson about serious mods. Don't mess with some of the other village idiots around there. Also, don't expect better than average service if you don't leave your car and a blank check. Just my experience and humble opinion
.
Hope that helps!

I'm sure some places will be willing to work on your car for you, but I'm willing to bet they wouldn't be very experienced working on them.
Are you looking for a place to buy parts from, perform work on your car, or just talk with them about what you can do?
My best advice is to pick parts from online, and install them yourself if its possible at all. This way you really get to learn about your car, and get to feel good about doing it yourself! (and it saves money!
