Hail damage/insurance co. help

I went to pick up my brother tonight and the damn manager was inside taking his sweet *** time getting his paperwork done while the tornado siren was going off and would not let my brother go..

THEN THE HAIL CAME!
I ran inside yelled for my brother to come out and he ran into my car and we hauled *** home
to sum it up I'm gonna bitch out that manager tommorow and
now I have 4 big hail dents in my hood...

what I need to know is is there anyway I can find a shop to order me an aftermarket hood instead of stock so atleast some good will come out of this I have full coverage so they would have to deal with the insurance company

Thanks for any help you can provide
it really hurts to see my car like this....

Man...I feel ya...my car got pelted...rear quaters are wasted, and hood is completly trashed...damn I'm glad I have full coverage

I hope they total it...I want a new car!

...and I'm not sure how they would handle the hood situation you have...I'll ask my pops...he's been in the body biz for decades. I'll get back to ya later...

ok...my pops said you will have to contact your insurance company and they will direct you to the place to get your damages assessed...he said body shops don’t do estimates on hail damages unless you are paying out of your own pocket...

...and you will only be given 70-80% from the insurance company for the damages...a check will be issued right then, minus your deductible...so if I where you, I would just go buy the hood you want and take it to a shop and have them paint and install it...if you let the body shop do all the work they will eat the other 20-30% of the damages since it's a right off for them...

Hopefully you understood all that...

<---- Ex insurance claims adjuster.

When you file your claim, ask for an appraisal from the ins co. When they want you to go to a shop say no, and that you'd prefer they come out and inspect it since you don't have time to take care of it right now..

Appraiser will come out and estimate what the total damages are, subtract your deductible and give you a copy. You can settle with the ins co for that amt right there and not get the car fixed if you want (if it's financed, the bank name will be on the check though). Then go buy about 3 high quality hookers and...

Oh, I mean go and order your hood. You may have some out of pocket, but it's not like paying for the whole thing.

well I guess I'm gonna just go ahead and not do anything
I'll just save up and get my hood a spoiler and paint them at the same time as planned before the hail...
