Guys in Houston/Harris County....(Emissions related)

I an seriously considering long tube headers, probably Pacesetter. They do have the emission hook ups, but I am aware that Harris County is pretty strict as far as emissions go. I would probably have a cat, but obviously it would not be in the stock location. As long as they plug up to my car, since I do have OBDII, and everything comes out ok, will I most likely pass?

Yes. I would not hesitate to put longtubes on if you have all emissions taken care of. If someone is wanting to be strict, someone else will pass you. Its a completely different story if you CAN'T pass the computer portion of the test.

My advice: Go for it .

I know people that passed it. I say go for it. I think they can install the sensors to make it emissions legal
