Good Installer Wanted DFW area
It's not the easiest while the motor is in the car but it can be done. The part that is really hard is keeping everything clean during the installation. These motors are usually filthy and you want to keep the cam and bearing surfaces spotless. Do you have a cam handle? Pulling the old one out and putting the new one in is easy. Just all about lining things back up on the install.
i hope you install the long tubes, i just got done installing some pacesetter mid length headers and they were a royal pain in the ***. the egr valve tie in wasnt even the right size, i would stay away from these things...
no it was a 95, there is still one spark plug that is almost impossible to get to and tightening the passenger side y pipe connection will make you want to burn the car. A buddy and i spent 8 hrs of pure hell putting these on. Maybe the kit for the 96 is better, but i would ask a few opinions about it first.
do a search for cam install. Read it a few times make a parts and tool list and some beer and go at it. keep every thing clean and take your time.
