Here's the deal....... I'm going to fly down to San Antonio this weekend (12th - 15th) to see a friend. We split on bad terms, and things seem to be going fine now, but I sort of want a back up plan, you know? Just incase a lot of bad memories come flooding back and she kicks me out, or goes crazy or something.

Anyways, all I'm looking for is someone to like come get me, or take me to the airport if things fall apart. I'm about 100% sure I won't be calling - but a lot can change after 3 years.........

In return, I'll buy a full tank of gas and a beer or dinner or something. You can just PM me your number, and I'll give you mine. Again, most likely I won't be calling at all - but I'd like to cover my *** if need be.

I don't know what side of town I'll be at. All I know is that I'll be staying about a 20 minute drive from the Airport so......where ever that takes me. I didn't know there were different sides of town.

If I could find a job down there, it would be tempting idea..... Know of any? I work in the IS/IT field and would be looking for around $40k (at least $35k). There's not much I can't do with a PC.



Yeah, I do miss TX. I got a nice bumper sticker to put on my truck.

Crazy man. What a world of change from Michigan. Plus "ya'll" (I'm working on that southern drawl thing...) have the best place to eat down there: WHATABURGER. Man...good stuff there. I'll pay someone $20 bucks if they can find a place up here that will serve you Chicken Strips with Gravy. PLUS, you can add jalapenos to your food. Again, the $20 dollar offer stands on that one as well.

Another good thing about TX is that you guys get to drive your cars all year long. We get like 6 months at best, then out come the beaters.

I saw the Alamo, and ate in at the restaurant that spins around... can't recall the name of it though, and saw the river walk. I didn't get to do the boat ride due to the rain - but all in all, it was a blast.

I'll be back though. If you're all wondering why it got so cold last weekend, it was me. I brought some of that Michigan "Fall" weather down with me. I hope you enjoyed it.

what does the bumper sticker say? and the "spinning resturant" is the tower of americas, good thing u went back its finally getting a little warmer, i used to have a gf in ohio, and when id go visit during the winter it would get warmer there, but when i left it would go back to freezing lol, i guess u and me both do that haha, ttyl bro

 

The sticker is a steer head that has the flag colors of TX on it. Half Blue with a star, and the other side is white and red. Kinda cool. Should look nice on my Truck.

Yeah, the weather thing is a bit odd. If I come down for christmas, I'll see if I can get it to snow for you all (err, ya'll). I heard all it takes is about 5 snow flakes to shut down the state.
