FS: T56 Tranny
FS: T56 Tranny
I've got a T56 sitting in my house that I would like to move. It has ~80k on it and was taken out because the pilot bearing went out on the car. These were all highway miles, and this thing never even saw the track. All inner workings look great with very minimal wear. It's in S.A. come get it. I can also arrange for delivery to almost anywhere in Texas. $750 o.b.o.

Actually, that's not a bad price. You usually can't find one that's in decent/working condition for under a grand.
Good luck with the sale.

SSNXTC:
The going price for a good tranny with 20-40k is around $1000-$1200, one with 10k usually goes for $1400, so one with 80k going for $750 obo is not bad. At least not in my opinion.
I have the bell housing with all the bolts and a stock shifter with **** that are included in that price also.
Let me know if you still think this is out of line, because I sure don't. I never took this thing to the track and when i dropped it out, there was still about half of the life left on the stock clutch, if that gives you any idea of how well this thing was treated. I am willing to bet that there are tranny's out there with 20k miles that look and perform way worse than this one, i mean how much wear are you actually causing in 6th gear at 75 for about 65k of those 80k miles? I drove this thing to school and back every day for a few years which was around 150 - 200 miles a day. I think that this is a fair price for a tranny in good working condition, and whomever gets it, is getting a steal.
