My dad purchased a wrecked 87 GTA Trans Am several years ago, pulled the drivetrain out and had it fully rebuilt (motor and tranny) with plans to install it in his El Camino. Well, after several years he lost interest, sold the El Camino..and now the engine, tranny, all accessories, and harness are sitting on an engine stand with 0 miles on them ready to install in a project car..or to resurrect any TPI Camaro or Firebird.
