here are all the questions i have been asked so far....
Pictures:
Interior pictures will be up soon. As far as exterior, I have had to work real late the past few days and car is dirty, I will get some pictures up as soon as I have time to wash the car. Engine pictures will follow soon too. I will take pictures of all the repainted body, quarter panels and etc.
Back seats:
I don’t have the back seats in or the back seat belts. They are in PRISTINE condition though. They will be with the car when sold so they could be put back in.
Clutch/Transmission:
I replaced the clutch at like 60-65K or so, so it has like 24k on it. It was a good replacement clutch. I do not remember what kind it is, it NEVER has slipped when flooring it. CAGS has been tuned out. It shifts absolutely beautiful. The transmission is in awesome shape no problems at all, extremely strong. The car has NEVER been to a drag strip so there has been no abuse to the drive train except for me flooring it in town or on the highway.
Tires:
The rear tires are 3-5 months old. They are 315 Sumitomos. I actually like them, they hook really well when slightly heated. The tires I had on the car in the pictures were the Nitto 555r's, fortunately for the future owner of the car they never were used to race. I just ended up putting highway miles on them traveling from college station to Houston. The front tires are Kuhmo Estacas; they have a few years on them but have quite a bit of life left, NO un-even wear. The back fenders have been rolled considerably where it is parallel with the body; you will NEVER see a sliced tire on the car even if you hit a pot hole the size of the Grand Canyon.
Headlight motors:
Both have been replaced since I have owned the car and have less than 4 years on them both. One probably has 2 and the other 3 years of use.
Previous known owner:
Car was owned by a forty plus year old man before me, I don’t know if anyone owned it before, but I got it in pristine condition with only a Moroso CAI and CAGS on it, that the man put on himself. He used it for his family car (even had a car seat in it when I test drove it). The car had 53K miles on it when I bought it.
Water Pump:
I just replaced the water pump on 10/27/08 (a few days ago) actually because I saw it leaking, turned out to be just a gasket but I had already bought the water pump so I just put a new one in it for the person who would buy it as a gift, so enjoy!
Window Motors:
Both window motors were replaced by me. I did the last one less than a year ago and the other has like 3 years on it (but it sat for 2 of those years, so it is like one year on it, I was out of the country and the car was garaged and just started by my father weekly).
Engine/Cam/Valve Train:
The motor is in great shape, really strong; there is a oil drip on the front side of the motor that drips like one drop a day. I have no clue where from, I have had the seals all replaced by a mechanic friend of mine who works at firestone who used to do all my repairs while I was busy in school. But it’s nothing to be worried about. The cam was put in by a guy in Houston, his name is Jason, I might have his info still but I doubt it be cause that was back in 2001/2. I bought the hot cam kit (still have the cam card somewhere in my files too I believe) so the RR's are the 1.6 gm ones that come in the kit. The cam is a decent cam, it lopes and you know it is there when the cut out is open; it’s a beautiful lope too, not to hard and not to mild. Idle I think is set at like 850. The cool thing about the car is when the cutout is shut, the muffler is so quiet, you could never tell it was cammed; well from another car, outside of the car you can tell, but it makes for a great sleeper as well if that’s your style. I always ride with cutout open.
Stereo/Antenna:
The stereo works great, I bought a new head unit (the monsoon) because my old one died on me and wouldn’t play cd’s any more. There is no antenna I took it out and lost it somewhere.
Exhaust:
I replaced the header gaskets as well just for the hell of it because I thought one was leaking. I was right, and now there are no leaks (this was done in December of 2006). The headers are Mac Mids, they are in good shape, they were not coated so you can guess that after this long they have some small spots on them, but in great shape, still real silver, the y pipe is in decent shape, since I am lowered it has a few scrapes, but it is in real good shape. There are no cats; it has a cut out before the rear tire. I run it open all day long so it’s pretty beasty. The exhaust is as follows: Mac Mids (1 5/8 primary), off road y pipe, cut out in front of rear wheels, stock muffler, SS tips. Headers and y pipe are in good condition, nothing to worry about there. The PCM is programmed to delete the 02s for the rear, so it will still pass inspection.
Balance:
The car is balanced really well, no pulling to one side or the other.
Rims:
Rims are in great condition, I barely rubbed against a curb, and it just scared the lip a tiny bit on the rear, but not noticeable till you are right at it, and when they are real clean you cant tell until close up. I think that is the only issue with the rims, they are my babies so I have tried to take good care of them, and I would have bought a near rear rim if it was truly bad because I am **** when it comes to crap like that.
Reliable:
For the past 2 years she has been my daily driver (well she has always been my daily) and no problems at all. It’s at the point where I stopped modifying it because I was so pleased with it.
Optispark to Dynaspark:
The optispark kept giving me problems before, a dynaspark and no problems since then. A dynaspark is a high grade optispark just if you did not know, look it up on the board to find out more info.
Compliments:
I can tell you the car really gets a lot of attention, for the color of course but it is consistently complimented by many drivers and looks great and sounds fantastic. I am very proud of all the work and its condition, especially since it is 12 years old.
No accidents… minor cosmetic repair:
Car has never been in an accident to my knowledge, I have owned it since 2001 and before that an older gentlemen who would use it as a family car for his wife and had a baby seat in the back on the transmission hump, and I know he didn’t ever wreck it. The red on the bumper I guess is the factory primer; I have always laughed at it myself. The “O” in Pontiac on the bumper is just a spot where the paint has chipped away, behind the rear tires on the inside of the fender where rocks have hit you can get a glimpse of red as well.
No side badges/side moldings:
My car didn’t come with side badges saying "formula", the side molding I removed because I like a cleaner look. I did that probably 5 years ago.
LCA’s:
Not installed, come with car, black.
Shift light:
It is located on the steering column with Velcro; I forget it is there; I disconnected the tack wire while working on the car one day and never hooked it back up. It is pre wired just needs to tap into the green wire I believe off the coil and it will work, they pill box is hidden in the glove box, it is really clean.
Dyno/Track:
I have never dynoed the car nor taken it to the track. I have run against my friend’s ls1 and it beat it by a car, he runs a 12.2 in the ¼. That was with the car as it is now, about 2 years ago was when I ran him, and just happened to be the last car I ever ran and hadn’t ran a car before that in 2 years either, so 1 race in 4 years (I was never big into racing, just ran my friend a few times and that was it). I do have a video of my car flooring it on the feeder of a highway from another car but I do not know how to host it.
Pictures:
Interior pictures will be up soon. As far as exterior, I have had to work real late the past few days and car is dirty, I will get some pictures up as soon as I have time to wash the car. Engine pictures will follow soon too. I will take pictures of all the repainted body, quarter panels and etc.

Here are the interior pics.... if you see look closely at some you will see on the carpet white powder... thats my laundry detergent that spilled sooo its not a stain of any kind. I took som egeneral pictures of the inside and ALL of the problem areas (cracked dash by the windsheild not the front though just the part by the windsheild is cracked, and seat rips). The rim i dint clean, so it is real dirty but you can see the small scuff on it.

Wow, killer car! I used to have a 95 the same color, and I kick myself in the butt for getting rid of it. If it were this summer Id already have this car, but untill the wife gets another car, and I sell her Z28, I cant make it happen. Maybe it will still be for sale then! Hey, I can dream cant I?
