FS: '94 Firehawk 6-spd (Garland, TX)
FS: '94 Firehawk 6-spd (Garland, TX)
I have '94 Firehawk #148 for sale.
I bought the car in February during a weak moment. I really don't
like red cars, but I made the mistake of taking it on a test drive
My wife won't drive it, because she doesn't like the whine of the
4.10:1 rear gears.
This is my first F-body. I really want a black one, now - I have to
stick with my black-vehicle theme. My wife won't let me get
another car until I sell this one.
It's a 6-spd, hardtop car with just over 102k miles on it. Check
out the following WWW page for more details. Let me know what
you think it's worth.

in the firehawk/ws6 section at ls1.com there is a thread about hawk value. check it out.
personally i think it would be worth more with the original exhaust. WITH did someone get rid of the 2OTL?
I can't guess at value. You don't see th ose much at all.

I'm not sure why the former owner removed the original muffler
and tailpipes. It now has a Flowmaster muffler and a twin-tip
pipe on each side. The SLP exhaust is all there up to the muffler.
I followed a '96 'hawk last week. It had the TOTL exhaust. It
wasn't as loud as the exhaust on my 'hawk. Maybe the former
owner wanted it louder.
I need to get $7500 out of this car. I just need to get my money
back out of it. I made the mistake of taking my wife to "The
Italian Job" last weekend. Now she can't live without one of
those MINI Cooper cars... the supercharged one, of course.
She says this 'hawk is too loud. Are all 4.10:1 gears loud? Is
there a way to quiet them down? If I don't sell this car, maybe I'll
swap-in 3.73:1 gears. They should be quieter, right?

I paid 9K for my Hawk and I was glad to do it. The loan value on these cars is insane, 20K and up. What is the condition of the car? Mine has a lot of miles, but it's super clean. I don't think you should have a problem getting 7500 for it. Try posting it on www.firehawk.org
