Post FS: 94 Camaro w/396 with all the goods:

After spending over 35k over four years I am giving my baby away for 20k OBO.

Motor was built by Patterson and only has about 1500 miles on it. Made 445/445 to the rear wheels and has roll cage, harnesses (not installed yet) and everything needed to run 11's naturally aspirated. Pistons are ringed for nitrous and you could add a 250hp shot of gas and get deep into the 10's. Car was built to get there. Have a stock torque are on it temporarily, it broke the IRS pos, but ordered a BMR Extreme Duty. All other details are in the sig.

Lacks any real track time on the new motor setup. Need to purchase some sticky tires before I take it to the track. Includes 15 x 10 Weld Draglites with tubes, screws, etc. Just don't have the tires yet.

It's been a thrill of a car and even though I want to keep it I need to make some investments and have to let her go. No expense spared with this car as I poured everything I had into her.

If you would like to discuss it my name is Marc 281-684-2253. I am the original owner of the car and I have about 4 inches of receipts of everything that has been done to the car.

Thanks 16blckz28. One thing that most people forget to think about, myself included, is that hp and torque is a lot more fun when you don't have any fear of breaking anything. My car has just as much if not more money thrown into the suspension, rear-end, roll cage, etc. than the motor. The motor is quite streetable and with the SpeedPro it tames the cam nicely. The motor setup was built for longevity as well as power. I will get some mid 11's with it before I sell it. It would be a low 10 sec car with NOS easily. It's a blast to drive and someone will enjoy the car for a long time. If I wasn't going thru a divorce I would have kept it forever.

Chris's old motor, but it was re-ringed and honed out and heads were checked out by GTP. Motor was brought back into new status before the install and it runs like a raped ape. Put down 445/445 on pump gas and that is with VERY conservative tuning. Haven't tuned a racegas track profile with the SpeedPro yet. Should have so track numbers soon.

Sorry to hear that you are selling the car. I think that mine is ALMOST ready.

From all that I have seen in person, the car is certainly worth the money asked.

Good luck.

Thanks Charles. Can't wait to hear what kind of #'s you get from the track with that monster. Like the sound of the exhaust. I am sure you are thrilled to finally get to drive the car. Should be an incredible ride!

I plan on getting 11's out of it before I turn it loose and if it doesn't sell for a while then I may just keep it and spray my way to the 10's.

Regards,

Marc
