Anyone have a good place at a good price, in Houston, that does Dyno tunes?? I think my mail order tune isn't doing the trick. Thanks for the help.

I didn't know that G-Force had a Dyno...they built my brothers motor and tranny and I live a few minutes away. $500 bones seems kind of high, but I will see what my car dyno's on their dyno...as soon as I repair the wires that melted on my dang headers!!! Thanks for the heads up!

is that $400 for one run on the dyno or untill the air/fuel ratio's are perfect??? Sorry for the newbee ? but I'm clueless. I have a friend that goes to school at UTI and HE get's free dyno use on thursdays but I don't think he could get mine done .

No, a dyno run is only like $50-$100 with a/f ratio. The $400 is to fully tune the car.

 

so for a full tune would they drive around in the car w/ you to tune at idle part throttle, and general daily driveing??

Basically, they take your mods, combined with your driving conditions and tune the car accordingly. They use a tuning program(lt1 edit, ls1 edit, etc.) to program the car to make the hp/tq mazimized for your mods.
