dropping motor

I need aplace to drop my motor. I am pretty sure that I have a head gasket probloem, adn need to drop the motor to fix, along with some other maintainance. Any idea of a shop that will rent me a bay with a lift, or someone who would rent me their personal lift?? Please help need to do this ASAP!

In the San antonio area!

thanks

john

motor drop

Well technically..No, but after doing a top down install on them with a cam and long tubes, I swore to never punish myself like that again. So with me doing the work, I figured that I would rather drop the motor and try to make it a little easier on myself.

You don't even need a lift for this. If you have a strut tower brace and an engine hoist, thats one way to do it. Or do what I did: jack up the car, rest it on a jackstand, then put blocks under the jack and jack it up some more etc...
