Desoto area..(south of Dallas..)

Guys,

Little help..

Anyone know the area... Good areas, bad areas? Kind of need to know ASAP..

Any info would be much appreciated...

Also..
Uhmm, who should I be rooting for Texas, A&M, or Tech?

I think I would continue going south ... Venus or Alvarado.

None of those. Texas Christian University. The best football played in the DFW area, pro or college, over the past 10 years has been in Fort Worth.

Venus is maybe 15 minutes from 67/20. Its improved 4 lane highway the whole way.

And this is Texas ... a 30 minute drive is nothing. Things are spread out.

Midlothian or Waxahachie might be viable alternatives. They are closer.

I lived close to Spur 303 and Loop 360.... It was only 5~10 minutes from the Ranger Ball Field and Six Flags...

I would do a recon run on the daily commute before I settled.

Michigan? Wow, are you in for a climate shock, for the better. South of DFW depending on where exactly you have to commute to, anywhere off of 287 from and including Mansfield going south. That includes Midlothian and Waxahachie as stated above.
