Post damn cats

who in the austin area could i go to to get my cats punched out and for how much? one of my cats is clogged and most likely melted through, so my car's not running too hot right now. I figure i might as well punch these cats out until i get some new ones that work. help please

I know of a place in SA that did mine. Email me and i'll give you directions. You'll have to get o2 sims or otherwise your light will be on and the computer will run rich as hell trying to compensate for it not being there.

Why in the hell would you do that to a warranty item? They are emission control
and covered for 80K miles

frankly because they're MAC cats. i've had continuous problems with their cats, and they don't even have that great of a flow from what i've heard. so when i do get new cats i'm going to go with random technologies, catco or something like that (so the warranty on their cats won't do me too much good). ttt
