You're right , everybody wanted a piece of him !!! He didn't show until after 10:00 and DIDN'T bring his car !!! EVERYBODY ragged on him soooo bad , we thought he was gonna cry !!! There were FIVE trailer cars there and he wouldn't race ANYBODY !!! He said "I'll go home and get my car" Everybody called him every name in the book !!! Every car worth a damn was there , and he pu$$ied out !!!! He's just a punk that talks **** !!!! He wont race for bragging rights !!!! Well, tonight was kinda boring, too many ricers and stock trucks coming out, we need to get some more f-bods out there! Still nice to see some Anyways, Rick, just gonna tell you your car is f-ing loud and I don't know how the hell you get around w/out every cop in town following you!!!
My engine is starting to give way I think. Tonight when I punched it out of the lot it spun for a sec, then jumped up to high rpm's but had NO power, it acted funny . When I sit at idle for more than a minute or two it starts smoking. Is this a sign of bad piston rings? or what do you think? It sucks, but maybe this means a 350 is coming my way around Christmas!! Anyways, had fun, maybe next week there'll be some racin?

I had better try harder to catch up. I only have 37 posts on this thread. I can't wait to hook up that hypertech brook. I am having doubts that I should put in these 3:73's. I think that I should go with 3:42's again, because I already have traction problems, and I don't want to end up like rick. Not to mention that I don't want to shatter my gears. So if anyone has some new GM 3:42's and you want some new GM 3:73's let me know.

 

Well, i have some 3.42s in my car, they have about 5k on them highway driving with no whine. I'd love 3.73s, but if not that's cool too.

If you're gonna be driving it everyday, the 3.73 should be fine. with an M6, you can do a lot steeper gear than me and still drive it everyday. i only have 4 gears

 

I just kind of see the 3:73's as a waste, because I already have some trouble planting, and it is fixing to get a lot worse, even if I don't do the gears. My first gear will be non-existent on the street, just like ricks first 3 gears. My car will very rarely see the track, and if it does, I don't want to worry about breaking my rear because of the steeper gears. I do really appreciate the input and let me know if you have any more, and if you still feel that I should stick with 3:73's.

Scott, if I do decide to go with 3:42's we might be able to work out a pretty even trade.

Yeah, I have 3.23s and Comp TAs and I still spin out a lot. oh well, maybe you should let of the gas a little! like me!
