check this out..
Someone tell me if I am wrong. But there is no way a stock 2001 gt mustang will hang with a stock ls1. I don't think so. SO add the following mods to the mustang..
MAC Cold Air Intake, Racing Flowmasters, Kooks Longtube Headers, BBK Offroad H-Pipe , Ford Racing 4.10 Gears, Eibach Sport Kit , Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter, Steeda Underdrive Pullies, Steeda Adj. Caster Camber Plates, Steeda Adj. Rear Sway Bar, Steeda Upper/Lower Control Arms, Accufab Plenum, Accufab 70MM Throttle Body, C&L 80MM Mass Air Sensor, Ford Motorsport 24lb Injectors, Tokico Illumina 5-Way Adj. Struts/Shocks, Steeda Full Length Sub Frame Connectors
and he says for $1000 he can beat an LS1....somebody prove him wrong.

Re: check this out..
I don't suppose these types of dicussions will ever end, even though they're totally ill-relevant. I'm sure there are lots of modified Fords that can beat stock Chevy's. Just as there are a lot of stock Chevy's that can beat stock Fords.
The only thing that really matters is, can you beat him in this race at this time.
