Question Buying prescription drugs in Mexico

I was wondering if anybody has crossed the border to buy prescriptions?

And now the sob story : I got laid off in May, wife had a baby in June, we scraped up enough to pay for our health insurance through the end of June and now currently do not have insurance. She (wife) is having some problems that relate to having the baby. This has happened before and we know exactly what type of medication to get but without insurance, seeing a doc and getting a script would be costly. If you really wanna find out more details about the problem or the name of the medication just pm me.

It is not a narcotic or anything like that, so don't think we're junkies or anything. I am about 10 hours from Brownsville and just need to know the name of a pharmacy a phone # perhaps, personal experiences etc.....I know not to drive my car across the border, park and use the pedestrian bridge. How about bringing stuff back across? Will the agents give you a hard time?

Have you tried any online pharmacies? Our police are a lot easier to deal with than their police. If the quantity is small and like Aggie said it's not too stout, then you shouldn't have to worry. I've known some people that have been caught and the just tok it and I know some people that have been caught and got thrown in jail. Guess it depends how the border guys feel that day.

Just declare them. They won't tell you anything. Not declaring them makes it worst. Everyone and their pets go across the border for this same reason.

Well, she has to show proof of current pregnancy to get on it. And she's not pregnant. Kids can be on it till they reach 18, after that you're on your own.
