Buying a car out of state

Ok so im planning on buying a new car within the next few weeks and i was wondering if i bought a car out of state (Michigan) and had it shipped to me (Texas) if i would have to pay sales tax and if i do, which state would it be in?

Thanks,

I bought my gtp out of state and brought it home, you have to get it inspected before you can get a window sticker. They give you a green sheet you take to the title place, you pay sales tax and all the stuff just like you had bought one in Texas. I also bought a vette out of state. It would be where you get the title changed over, in Texas. Hope this helps
