I didn’t want it to end up this way, but because I got home this afternoon and there weren’t any parts sitting on my doorstep, I’m going to do something about it.

Myself, 95RedBird02, and impssracer/BIGCOWL-IMP have all been taken for a ride by MaddHatter. MaddHatter, Austin Wilson in the real world, had a wrecked ’95 Trans Am that he was parting out.

95RedBird02 paid for the door panels on January 20th.
impssracer/BIGCOWL-IMP paid for his drivers side door on February 6th.
I purchased the Wiper arms, caps and the power distribution block on January 31st.

Not one of us three have received their parts as of today, Tuesday, February 24th. None of us have received tracking numbers, nor have we received our money back.

Austin will not reply to our complaints. He has repeatedly asked that we take our difficulties with him to email and pm’s, but that would only keep it out of the public’s eye.

In the time since the parts were purchased from Austin, he has sold the wrecked T/A to 94Camarov6SS. The driver’s door was still attached to the car!

Austin, this is your final warning. If something isn’t done within 24 hours of this message to rectify the situation with myself and all other affected users of this situation, the proper authorities will be notified. This is theft, any way you look at it.

You tell him bro. Anybody involved in this live in his area?? A guy I work with has a boy that's going to college in Texas, and he's a freakin monster. Think I might have to see if he'd be interested in paying this loser a visit, since he seams to have decided to ignore the situation, which I take as he's not going to refund the money or supply the parts.

Listen Austin, you stated that you'd pm'd or e-mailed everyone explaining this. I haven't heard crap from you, except for your reply in the thread I started stating that you'd take care of it, and that you'd gladly refund the money. Well, refund it already, and this will be over between you and me, simple as that. This is the last time I'm asking.

 

Austin.. I suggest you get this all straightened out. Real quick like.

impssracer and BIGCOWL-IMP same guy work and home



He e-mailed me this morning and said the door was on the way
so i e-mailed him back and asked for the tracking number and i have not heard back from him well i`m done being a nice guy.
I have a friend that works for the Livingston County Sheriffs Dept.
and i`m going to be give him these links. i`v already done some work for him because i have his home address and work address He has help me in the past and the guy is still in jail. same situation i best see this door friday afternoon or at least a tracking #

 

Here's a twist for you. I thought I'd ask 94Camarov6SS if the wipers I bought off of MaddHatter were still on the car. Here's how the conversation went:

Not sure if you already know this but I've seen some recent posts by him on DFW Stangs. Might want to go over there and make this known as well if you haven't.

 

Thanks for making me aware of that. I'm reading his thread over there about parting out the T/A.

At least his dates are consistent about sellling the door panels (on the 20th).

What about the dude that bought the car to part it out, will he hook you up? If I had bought it (and I thought about it since I could use the drivetrain) I would try to work something out with folks that got burned.

 

I asked him about a couple parts, not knowing it was the same car. I don't even know if Austin and the new owner are working together on this or not, especially after my AIM conversation.

I'm so jaded about the whole thing, that I'm just going to find my parts somewhere else... maybe locally or something.

All that anyone wanted was some sort of proof that their money wasn't being taken... tracking numbers...anything. Then when you sold the car (and deleted the thread out of the blue) - both doors were still on it, the wipers were supposedly still on it... what else are we supposed to think?

That SoccaBalla2K4 told me that he was parting out his V6 I almost bought a front bumper off of him...I never heard anything about a T/A that he's parting....

He's up in the Frisco area I believe...

 

SoccaBalla2K4 is the AIM name listed in 94Camarov6SS's profile, that's where I got it.

 

Are they one in the same? I just saw someone copied and pasted some IM messaging above...
