Anyone want to show a mustang Driver up?

Well one of my friends has a mustang and he doesn't think ANY LT1 can beat him unless its highly modded.
Its a 2000 GT/Cobra look alike. All it has is Long tube headers and X-pipe and CAI. It MIGHT have gears ( 3.73) m5. I also thing hes running some nitto's

I'm hopping to race him once i get my LT hooker headers in and see what it turns out but that wont be for maybe a month or more.

Anyone want to show him up? I'm just looking for an LT1 with the same mods he has just to prove a point to him. It just kind of pissed me off that he would say something like that. Shoot me a PM if anyone wants to.

BTW its in Garland. ( Dallas area)

Well, I will spank his ***. I have a 94 T/A with Longtubes, offroad open ypipe, 315 Nitto Drag radials, 2500 stall convertor, stock gears, intake, and lower control arms. Oh I also have Hal 12 ways up front.

And he doesnt like getting beat by that, my little brother has a full bolton 95 Formula with a 6speed and 4.10 gears.
Let me know which car he wants to get beat by

We have a buddy with offroad xpipe, Borla catback, intake, short shifter, nittos, and sfcs, on his 2003 GT and we stomp him pretty easily.

Lol he really wants to race me today after i raced one of our friends with that has a 95 5.0, I beat him pretty nicely.
Also it might requir you to drive here if yall do race... just fyi and i'm not saying race on the street.. its your choice.. or the track.

I'll see if i can get him to race though. I think we're going to the track (redline) this weekend and he said he was going to be there but wasn't going to be racing but we'll see.

He keeps saying hes not racing anymore but said he would race me after i raced our friend and found our that i beat him. Also he says he’s just going for looks now .

He came up with some title the king of racing..? at our school which is pretty Immature and just down right gay of you ask me. (he used to have the fastest car at our school last year and might still till i get my headers on) was a 93 5.0 LT's tranny, gears, cam ect. Ran almost dead even with my friends dad's stock WS-6 but beat him by like a car. Ran best 8.2 n/a 7.6 with nitrous. Which to me is pretty sad with all that stuff done to it. But he sold that one and got the GT

He's just extremely big headed if you ask me and cocky.

 

Ill be heading to Dallas very very soon, so i could drop by Garland I promise i wont spray him either

Yea i'm hopping to get them on soon. All i need now is gaskets, bolts, spark plugs and wires then i'll be set.

he keeps saying that 2000 was the best year with the most horsepower or something and all he knows is that his car is a freak.

 

1994-1998 were the years of the crappy 4.6L V8. The 1999+ 4.6 are equivalent of the LT1 however I don't believe they respond as well to bolt-ons as the LT1s do perhaps that has something to do with the added 1.1L of displacement the LT1 has.
