Anyone know who can built a custom true dual exhaust in the area?
Anyone know who can built a custom true dual exhaust in the area?
I'm about ready to have my exhaust built and I know most muffler shops won't do anything but a stock setup. Looking to have a true dual over the axle built, already got it all planned out and all the spots cleared for it to clear everything. I can trailer the car anywhere in about a few hundred mile radius of DFW if you know a shop that can do it.
If I had a nice pipe bender, I'd do it myself.
If you are thinking Lanes Performance, they do not do exhausts anymore, only deal with tires now.

Great! Thanks, and that is a heck of a deal! I'm going to go ahead and order my headers and the cats and muffs I want to use. I have all the routing planned out, so I hope he is not set on doing it only one way, shouldn't be that difficult if he's done them before with LT headers and the driver side crossing over under the tranny tailshaft.

I got mine done for $100 in Bryan with me helping and buying the parts.
You need two stock intermediate pipes for the bends, and some small 90 degree bends.
I used a summit 3" h-pipe kit after the hooker long tubes, then flanged reduced to 2.5" with cutouts under the car, then over the axle and into corvette mufflers under the bumpers. Quiet and loud - I can choose.
Oh yeah. The guy said he wouldnt do another one for $100.
