Anyone interested in a Buick 455 shortblock?

I have a 1972 Buick 455 short block for sale, the casting number is 1238861 and the codes on the drivers side deck surface are "WF" and "22I" which show it to be a 1972 block from a big body Buick model. I had it for my 81 Formula WS6, but plans have changed and I am no longer going to use it. I picked it up from a company out of Florida last year and they said it was in good shape to rebuild, I just stuck it in the garage and haven't touched it since. No heads, no intake, just a standard shortblock; block, crank, and pistons. The shortblock is located in Temple, Texas (Between Waco and Austin on I-35). I'm asking $250.

Email or PM me your contact info and I'll be happy to post it up on the Lone Star Performance Buick Club email forum, lots of old Buick part swapin going on there. Or you can go to www.lspbc.org and click on the link on the lieft side for "Join email list" and list it by sending the info to the distro list that is signed up.

RedHottG2 - Thanks Mike! How is your search coming along? One of my friends up in Stephenville is going to either swap an LT1 into his Camaro or sell it and get an LT1 Z28 and I'm going to take him out to Valley Mills to cruise one night, you should head out there with us!

2QUIK6 - Cool man, thanks! PM sent!

I just emailed the club distro and copied you on it. There's guys from Austin and Houston on that list so maybe one of the old Buicks guys will need it.
