Anyone have interest in LT1 engine with 14k miles in SA??

Just wondering if there is a good market for my LT1 motor here in texas. It will NOT be available till probally mid june, just to let potential buyers know.

I am building a new solid roller motor, and as long as all goes well i will be selling the current motor in my car.

It has approxamently 15k miles on it now. I bought from a friend in florida when it had less then a 1000 miles. there wasn't really any carbon buildup yet in the exhaust ports.

Its came from a 95 firehawk. It is 100% stock except for cc986 valve springs, cc titianuim retainers, and 10* locks. The heads have never been removed, the cam has never been removed.
I can sell it with these springs and retainers or stock.

It is much more then just a longblock. The motor is almost a drop in comlete. includes oilpan through throttle body, water pump, timing cover, valve covers and stock 97 manafolds. there will be no fuel rails, injectors, opti, egr, or wiring harness.

The LT1 runs perfectly, and has been in my car for 15k miles infact its in my car right now and i could even give you a ride if you want. just let me know your interest, im not going to comit selling it to anyone till i am ready to sell it.

Your right, i looked on ebay and there were several longblocks that went for simular price, but none had oil pans, intakes, throttle bodys, wps, stock manafolds, valve covers and all had terms like "good for rebuild" "spun bearing" "been sitting for X years" "120k miles"

Mine not only runs, but runns extremely well, includes almost everything to just drop in and has extremly low miles

I will want alil more then $750

well these are true long block

valve covers to oil pan

the intake and throttle body you could maybe add anouth $200 to your price and sell it

but you would have to find a kit car or a v6 conversion

since most people dont want the TB or intake

i think you could get $1k for you block if you sold it local

you can buy a rebuilt long block with warrenty for $1300
