With a OBDI Computer with a OBDII Plug?? I would prefer local as the car can't drive very far. I'm in Garland BTW. Anyone wana make a few bucks??

 

whats the number on the pcm.......if its still a stock one we can scan it easy..if not it will only take a lil bit

 

i got the stuff to datalog..... il be in Ft worth on the 1st but right now im in indiana

the serial number...? its oblivously a obd1 or obd2 computer tuned...its one of the 2, by the serial number you can tell if its been swapped or not

 

I didn't see one on it anywhere man. Even pulled up the sticker and looked under it. Also had the name Richard written on it.

 

well there should be a number like...16188051 that will be for an OBD1 computer...obd1 will i believe start with 161....... end with something else...if it doesnt i dont know how you can tell if its a obd1 or 2

 

I'll take it back out and look over it again when i can get it in the garage. prob just over looked it.

 

it's obd1. If it has or had 4 O2's then it is OBD2. 95's were OBD1 with an OBD2 connector.

yea but the car is modified...heads cam and tuned...so he doesnt know if it had 2 or 4 to begin with...or if its been tuned to work without the crank position sensor ect...weve tried to scan it before with a snap on scantool and it couldent link to the pcm
