RPM in lewisville built my 700r4 in my old camaro. They beat everyone else by over 400 dollars. If it is a stock rebuild they have a local gm tech that they take it to. If its built, they used to take them to Ron Goebel in Waco, but I don't know if they still do.

A guy who used to work for Frank Parra Chevrolet in Irving rebuilt our automatic transmission and it is rock solid. He did a great job. I'm not sure where he works now, but his name is Layth Fadhil and his cell phone number is (being sent to you in a private message).

When I needed my t56 rebuilt quickly to make a race, standard trans&gear in ft worth did it quick, and prices are not bad. It has held for over a year now, they had it back to me in two days. They don't do autos though.

Jason at TDP is just as good as the others as far as the rebuild goes, what makes him better is his customer service. When I had my 700r4 done, he R&R it, but when I had trouble with shifting, he let me keep the car there while I trouble shot it and also assisted with fixing it free of charge. Here is his post from another board

Just to let everyone know. I charge $175-225 + parts for most tranny rebuilds. f-body T56's are $500 carryout w/ the steel 3-4 fork + basic rebuild. Here is a list of the trannys I can rebuild...
Tremec:
T56 (f-body, Vette, Viper)
T45 (Mustang 4.6 96-99)
T5 (Mustang, f-body)
T-3550

Getrag
New Process
ZF
^^ 3/4 ton & 1 ton Dodge and Ford truck 4 & 5-speeds

Aisin - Jeep 5-speed

**If it's not on this list, just ask, I can probably do it**
