Any good mechicanics in Corpus?

I need my rear wheel bearings replaced and so far to 3 places I have been said they could repack em. I thought they had to be completed replaced on these cars. Or am I wrong? If anybody knows how or knows a good place where I can get this done, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

IM kinda new to cctx but i dont know of any reputable hot rod shops like they have in san antonio? Why would you need to change or service rear wheel bearings on a 2000?

It was totaled before without me knowing So I think they went out of line. Sucks big time. I went to a shop here and they wanted to charge me$700. I think I am going to have to shop around some more. Welcome to Corpus by the way. If you need anything, don't be afraid to ask. What brings you to here??

I wanted to slow things down abit but this is rediculous,lol..san antonio is a busy place but the way it looks i wont be here too long unless valero or citgo play ball with me and hire me. I was trying to sell my car so I could move but auto trader let me down so im not sure I can sell it now. If u see me, flash your lights at me, you cant miss this car...almost one of a kind, black slp ramair z28 with ss spoiler...with a nasty idle, lol. There are lots of LS1's here but unless they have a blower or N20 or a big cam.. I have no worries,lol....Ive taken out 5 so far...but really I shouldnt be street racing. After the 3rd engine you would think I learned my lesson so I best tone it down.

Yeah..our market down here is reallllly slow. I can get you a job where I work, Best Buy, for fun if you want lol. No worries down here about modding. There are really no shops down here that cater much to Camaros. There are about 2 Camaros that would probably get things going, but that's because they post on here sometimes. Your only on your 3rd engine?? I drive a pewter colored Camaro with chrome z28 tips. Can't miss me, especially at night. Only Camaro in town with a hid blue kit. I'll flash you and see how bad I get killed by your car. Good luck.

Yup, the axle bearings. That is why I thought they were suspicious since they said they could just repack them. I get this grinding loping sound in the rear. I already did the rotors, brakes and new tires all around and checked the fluid. This is the only other items I think would cause the sound. Unless I am missing something

Hell yeah I saw em and they were just here recently. Awesome as usual. I get the sound at all speeds. Not only when it is cold either. I speed up, and so does the sound. Slow down and the sound goes with it. Would it be cheaper to get a whole new rear end with upgraded gears or just replace em?
