Cool what kit are you running? The ST is awsome smooth as butta but grips like a ****. Damn clutch i hope i never have to do that again. I feel sorry for my tires
I have a nx kit and am scared to run the second stage, fear that my stock bottom end will not handle 300extra rwhp I'm already pushing 470 fwhp. 700rwhp on stock bottom end and 10 bolt i see somthing getting broken.

i have the NOS kit 5151 for tpi cars. i think ive only hit the button once and the clutch kind of held up. every other time it has damn near hit redline before i back out of it and turn the switch off. lately i dont even bother messing with it until i get this ST put in. it looks like a mean SOB. i wish it would go in by itself dropping the tranny sucks in camaros. yeah without forged pistons i wouldnt go with a dual stage. unless you really want forged pistons then go for it and spray it a few times and im sure one or eight pistons will blow up.

Mr. Diabolical where did you get you ST - local? I know of a place that quoted me $825 in dallas for one. are you installing it yourself? I may need some help when I get one - if you are interested in helping a fellow f-bud out.

Did you get the adjustable master with it? I tried the clutch with the stock slave and master and it would not engage/disengage. The steel FW is better for drag racing because it provides more rotational mass off the line. The alum one is better for auto xing revs faster and decellerates faster. I got the steel one seems fine to me i can hardly keep up with how fast it revs i could not imagine the aluminum one Hey I might come to your house this summer and we can go to the local track. I still to this day have never ran a 1/4 mile only 1/8th's

Ouch the master alone is $350 from mcleod and has been on backorder for 3 months. I wish i got the master because many people have had problems with the slave leaking fluid on to the clutch.

Oh and Mike: So who cares if im slow Hell i cant even keep the car out of the drive way for more than a week.

Oh I can drive a standard just fine but at least I don't have to worry about missing gears and Street Twin slave setups.

That's alright though because I got pulled on pretty bad last night by a cammed LS1. I could have used that pretty red car w/ some stickies last night. I have a bad high RPM miss right now but I don't think it would have helped even if my car was running right. A 100 shot would have been nice, though. Joe do you still have that old unvented opti?
