Post AHARTZ28 customers... Inside!

Well, per request of fellow board member AHARTZ28, how do you feel about the quality of his work?

There's a strong possibility that he may be assembling heads/installing my motor for me.

So for those of you have had work done by him, tell me your stories.

Personally, when someone RECOMMENDS that I request a background check on their work, I feel MUCH more confident and reassured to allow them to do the work.

Thumbs up

Ryan does outstanding work!

He did a header install for me, then took them back off when i put my car back to stock. The headers did not leak whatsoever. He also did a gears/differential install and there is absolutely no whine whatsoever. I will definitely be giving him more business whenever necessary.

Very fair and straight shooter plus he's hilarious too.

Ryan is top notch.

He installed my gears, driveshaft, steering knuckle(so he could do the front end alignment) and fixed my emergency brake.
When he did my gears he installed all new bearings, Mobil 1 sythetics, and new seals.

He also diagnosed some problems with my car, such as a bad control arm, which he told me about after he was finshed the wheel alignment, which I immediately replaced with Lakewoods.
He rewired my headlights correctly and deleted a wheel speed sensor code on my car.
He figured out why my ABS INOP light was on and how I could correct it.
Next up he is going to fix my A/C which went out a couple of days ago.

Finally, I would like to say that everytime I talk to him he teaches me so much about my car. He has always takes time to explain everything he does to my car. He also answers all and any questions I have about my car.
Finally, besides the fact that his own care further reflects his knowledge, everytime I meet someone from the club, they all speak highly of him.
If you need even more information about him, let me know, peace.

Ryan is great. He removed and installed an engine on my car. Replaced all the seals and gaskets and the motor runs great. He installed headers and an a/c compressor that i bought from him also.

I have allowed alot of people to do work on my car in the past since
1. i am not that great at it
2. i work too much to do it anyway

and never have i found someone that was as good with my car as Ryan was. He truly likes the 4th gens and treats everyone like his own.

Hes a great guy who does great work. I still plan on him building a stroker motor for me as soon as i get another job.

Does he enjoy working on other engines, besides LT1's?

I don't have an LT1.
LOL, Ryan convinced me 3/4 of the way not to get an LS1 and to get an LT1 instead b/c of the number he works on each week because of spun bearings, rods, etc etc. But right now i am after any V8 i can get.

(i have a v6 right now, that is what he worked on)

edit: just reread, brook i can't wait to meet you next year, you're so retarded :P i'll be at aTm next yr.
also, ryan's other car is the coolest! the daily driver, nice ole geo metro lolololololol
if i don't find a v8 we are gonna line em up at river city, after he tints the windows so no one will recognize him

Hey Ryan, we need to talk. I'm at the point of going and buying a 2003 Cobra and calling it a day on my T.A. I'd like to speak to you about doing some work on my car(before that happens). You seem to know your sh*t. Everyone here speaks highly of you. I'm tired of working on it and getting nowhere. E-mail me with how to get in touch with you.

I have gears and a cam waiting to go in my car. I would like to help someone do it and not just drop it off at a shop somewhere and pick it up the next day. I guess from the replies so far the he can do gears and cams? I would like to get the gears put in soon, since I have had them sitting around for about a year.

Anyone in SA swapped window motors? My drivers side is about to krap out.

He fixed my A/C yesterday, and he wants to know who all can go to RCR next Friday.

Hehehe. She's getting there. I'd blow your doors off right now (really). I still have to redo my wires, though. I just replaced two burned ones tonight and burned one of them again on the way home as well as discovered that all the new found hp has exposed yet another problem.........I'm losing fuel pressure at high boost/RPM now. Not good. Looks like a fuel system upgrade is in order. The ATI booster pump ain't cuttin' it anymore. It's too bad. I really wanted to make some passes tomorrow night. Oh well. Ryan, you up for an intank pump upgrade??
