85 Firebird 2.8 5-spd: $500

I picked this up as a project but have since decided that I'm gonna try to get another bike. Car doesn't run, the guy I bought it from said it needs a fuel pump and a starter. Interior's still in decent shape, has t-tops, wheels are off a 91 Formula with 255-50-16 z-rated tires with plenty of tread left, and new brakes in the front.

I just want to get back what I've put into it so I'm asking $500 obo. Either reply to this thread or give me a call at 210-367-1829.

Why sell it? With your luck you're gonna need it pretty soon. j/k man..

I finally got my '87 converted from a carb to TPI.

Hey now, that wasn't my fault... I let my friend borrow the last bike.

Actually I just sold the car to my brother in law. He's got a 305 in his garage that's just waiting for a car to be dropped into.

How's the '71 coming along, Richard?

It really isn't coming along at all - as of late. I have lots of goodies for it, just havent had the time to do much with it. I have a T56 completely rebuilt and an Lt1 engine sitting on a stand... Just some nickel and dime stuff preventing me from stuffing it between the frame rails. I've been working on the 3rd gen getting it going again - now that it is, I will resume the 2nd gen project soon.

Be careful with that 305 install - I think the v6 and v8 t-5s were different so the tranny may not hold up well. A pic of my 3rd gen is now in my sig.

Damn that is sweet looking!!

As far as the transmission in my '85, do you know if it will bolt up to a v8? I warned my brother in law about that but he said if he breaks it, he's got a th-350 sitting around as well he can put in there.
