Cool

I have been driving F-bodies with the plate just in the rear since 1999 and have never had any problems whatsoever.

All my cars originally came with the front plat, but on the Camaro's I've just taken the bracket off and on the Firebird I put the cover on top of the front plate (luckily it was in the trunk when I bought it).

I have even gotten three speeding tickets but none of the cops have ever said anything about the plate.

I guess it depends...

stick it in the front window using those 'office depot' suction cup hooks to keep it visible.

should cover you 99% of the time...since it is visible from the front of the car.

My Z came from a state that doesn't require a front plate. I have a bracket in the garage, but haven't decided whether to drill the holes or not, really haven't had the time either.

My previous car was a Corvette, which never had a front plate, and nobody ever bothered me about it in the seven years I drove it, even when pulled over for speeding a couple of times. However, I am older, and obviously don't fit the profile that police might be looking for an excuse to pull over. As mentioned above, I think that may be the key.

My Z is stock, so it doesn't attract attention either.

that's not the "front" and it can't have any coverings over it.

(7) has a coating, covering, or protective material that distorts angular visibility or detectability.
