I've just received the bad news that I need a trans rebuild. I figure if I'm going to do it, I may as well either rebuild with a performance rebuild kit or buy a performance transmission. Do any of you in the Houston area know of any good performance shops that you could recommend to me?

The one way to get there is to go west on Westheimer. Take a left on Harlem Rd. Follow it southbound until you get to Plantation. Century will be right by that corner. There's a picture on their website of the place so you can't miss it.

Or it looks like you could take 59S down to 90, take a right, then go north on Harlem until you get to Plantation.
