Who all has been to eddyville this year?

I made it for the first weekend, but haven't been back yet. Spun to a 10.19, so now i'm waiting on my posi and gears. I won't be able to go back until June 20th because of conflicting a baseball schedual.

GeneralZ and fastenuf were there that first weekend.

I've seen a few LT1's headed down there on friday nights. I also hear that highschool races are free now, so racing all night for free, sounds like a good deal to me.
Just wondering who else has been there.

I was there for the 2nd time last weekend. The guy with the SS convert from boone was there. There was also a bad *** supercharged LT1 camaro there, but he couldn't get any traction from his tires...didn't help he was running on 17x11 Torq Thrusts. He ran a 7.5 and claimed he had 1000 hp

What color was the supercharged LT1? I've talked to some guy with a blue one and he was saying that he might be down there sometime. Yeah I'd agree that 1000 hp is total bs.

Was the fake SS vert spraying again?

Are your headers on? If so, what kind of gains are you seeing?

The supercharged car was white, and it had out of state plates. I ended up getting a refund for my headers since mac isn't going to make a new batch for '93s any time soon. I'll just save for long tubes. I did buy a 2800 stall, But i haven't had the time to put it in yet. I'm thinking the stall will help me more than headers will.

The guy in the SS vert was spraying, He's running consistant 8.2-8.3s, he's also got some et streets on it now

mmmm converter.....
Sounds badass
Might be time for some drag radials after that?

Well, Its not looking the best for getting my damn rear end here and installed by the 20th. I guess as long as its here by the 19th I can have it swapped in 4 hours, but I don't know, Speed automotive is kinda giving me the run around on shipping

Either way I'll be there the 20th and the 4th of July, I'm feeling so deprived right now and starting to get the itch for racing.

Talking

I have been to Eddyville once this year. Track was crappy, as usual and only got 4 runs due to all the bikes and Jr Dragsters. I doubt I'll be going down too much this year. It is worth the little extra drive to go to CFR.

Gates open at 5, time trials at 630 and eliminations start at 8. When I get to go I usually show up around 6. Many of the guys that race on saturday are doing test and tune that night. And there are also the jr dragsters to wait on. But there are about 16 people racing h/s from what I saw on the eddyville website, so you figure somewhere around 23+ street cars there maybe? The h/s races are for points, with the winner and runner up each night recieving a trophy. The rest of the night is test and tune and its usually a little cooler then so the times get quicker.
