That's a good idea. Actually we should meet up Friday at Osceola Dragstrip for some fun f-body racing in the afternoon, then go to Hooters for dinner and then we all go out cruising and causing havoc to South Bend, Mishawaka area.

Late to the thread, but here I am in Champaign Illinois for school. Cheese, I've seen your car driving around a few times! For x-mas/summer I go back to the good ol' Carbondale/Marion Illinois area. No meth labs there, just in the surrounding towns

I remember the days when they used to have Street Machines in DuQuoin. Wow, what a good time. Got my first tickets in my TA down there...C&I for street racing and a ordinance violation for exhaust. Cops don't like it when an open header car revs it up, especially when the cop is standing right behind the car.

Honestly not that good anymore. 3-4 years ago was awesome. There were probably 30-35 cars out on the weekends, f body's, fox bodys, muscle cars, blower cars, bottle cars. But it has since died out, there are a bunch of rich boys with 03' cobras running around, and maybe a handful of other cars but thats about it. There are several 9-10 second cars around but they don't come out that often and they are way out of my leauge. I miss high school, racing was awesome back then.

It wasn't a good thing. Those are the only races I have had since I have my 406 running. Like I said there are 03 cobra's around here but I haven't raced any yet. I want to get some suspension work done so I can knock a few tenths off my time. Theres one 03 running 7.20's at almost 100mph. Those things can be made to go really fast.
