South Bend area F-body Gathering

Hey everyone, one of my friends and I are trying to get an F-body gathering/ club going. We're not sure yet when we'll hold it but it will be something this summer. If anyone knows other people with F-body's tell them and we can try to get a big group together. If you have any suggestions tell us. We want to make this a big thing. THanks!

Alright, That'd be cool! I'll post some more details when we decide to try and hold it.

ALright! I still have to get in contact with the other guy thats helping set it up. I need to see if anyone has asked him anything and what not. We were thinking of having the first gathering around the end of May. We also thought about going on a Friday night, going to the drag strip then when we're done with that we'd goto Hooters for dinner. Then we also have thought about trying to get the people at Tire Rack to let us use their little road course and to maybe take a tour of the warehouse. We are open to all suggestions. This is our first time doing this so we'll take any help we can get.

I like the track and Hooters idea on a friday night.

Tire Racks road course would be fun as well.

Here's another idea >> http://www.fbody-event.org/bin/faq.cgi

Lol, nope not yet...Haven't been able to get ahold of the other guy. How about everyone just say when is good for them and we'll try to plan around that.

I guess I"ll start, I can make myself free on most friday nights and saturday's.

That's the key, if it doesn't rain.

I'm tired of all this rain lately.

AMEN!! I was suppose to go to the track last friday, but it rained. I'm really hoping that it will hold off Friday. I like it when it rains, but not to the point where I can't drive my car! I don't like to drive my car in the rain because I like to keep it clean and I'm afraid that I might get too loose around a corner or something.

I hear ya, I may head to the track too and watch my buddy run his GN. I was there a couple of weeks ago and ran my car on Friday night. I went 10.82 @126 having to shift into 5th. I'm going to have to go to a taller tire and avoid shifting into fifth.

Your not interested in any ET Street are you? They have a total of 3 times at the track. There 26x10.5x16 and will mount on factory stock rims. If interested I may sell the rims too.

Let me know.

Thanks

I might be interested. I'd probably keep them in storage for awhile but I might be able to buy them. How much? One of the guys at work has a Busa that hits low 9's. His friend has a turbo Busa making upper 200's in the horsepower, not sure what it runs though.
