October 9 RSD

Who is gonna be there and what are you bringing? Hopefully I can finish a paper early and be there for one final night of racing before the winter. Not sure what car I am bringing yet but should be fun either way!

HEY! I post the RSD threads around here

I might show up. My car is finally running pretty well, but I only have a street tire so I doubt I'll be able to accomplish much.

Definitely need a tire before next season Racing...

Looks like I beat you to it! We should see if your 4th gen can handle my 3rd gen. Should have my 88' Trans Am. What kind of tire do you run on? What kind of 60' do you pull with that stall?

Later,
Donny

Right now I'm running a Dunlop 5000 Sport 245/50 in the rear and 240/50 in the front.

I was cutting a 60' of 2.0 CONSISTANTLY with these tires before the stall. But now with this stall on the street, i never have any traction. Gone are they days of brake torqing until i get some DRs or E.T. streets

Did you go to LZ HS? I went to McHenry (graduated in 2002) and I was just curios b/c we are in the same conference...yeah sounds like you need some tires to take advantage of the higher stall on the converter. We should line a race up.

Later,
Donny

Yea i need a tire, but i would like to get one more good run on the car before the season ends, to see where i'm at.

race for whatever...money, bragging rights, doesn't really matter. Do you know what time the gates open? they still have clocks off timed runs too right? Money is pretty tight in my college budget but we'll see...wouldn't mind making my trip worth while.

Looks like Gates are gonna be open at 3 again. They will have clocks off, timed runs pretty much all nite, but once it get late, the primary concern is the street race runs.

Money is tight for me too. I'd rather not bet money on this race, since U know EVERYTHING my car has and i don't even know what kind of cars u have

That's what the main event is...street style racing spotting cars, off the flags, etc...but there are some real radical "street cars" i have even seen lots of cars that probabley don't get driven on the street.

Hmmmm...I know everything? who says you don't have a nitrous system? And i have an 1988 Trans Am, and a 1989 Firebird Formula...the formula is my street machine but i was too busy this year to work on it w/ my TA, so it looks like the TA running all motor will be out and running wild!
