need someone in illinois to help me with header install

i just recently purchased some pacesetters headers for my 3.8 maro, and my original plan to have my exhaust shop do it is off cuz they wont do it so now i am an inexperienced 17 year old with headers on the way and no way to put them on..

i know for a fact that my ex-step dad could do it but i know he and my mom would both **** and moan about me "wasting" my money if they knew

so if there is anybody on here near mahomet illinois with the capability to do this for or less than 100 bucks please reply ASAP

I used to live in Champaign but moved to Charleston. I could help you, I put my headers on my LS1 but never a V6. If you need some maybe we can figure something out and I have a garage if needed.

I am sure it won't be any more difficult than my LS1, to be honest the only hard part about mine was getting the bastards down in there. Are you going to bolt the collector to the I pipe or are you going to have it welded?

Since you are not 21 just give me some money for an 18 pack of beer .......about $15 and we can throw them on if that sounds good to you. Just let me know, I have school and work but I am sure we can figure something out.

Sounds good, just let me know when you want to do it, as long as I don't have school or work there shouldn't be a problem.

I don't think it would be a problem, the reason I put mine in from the top is because it was easier than trying to get it thru the bottom. I am sure you have more room under your hood anyway. I will check out the pic, just let me know when you get everything in, I usually get one day off on the weekend, we will have to find a time that is good for both our schedules.

"shuck" what is your real name so i could stop calling you by your s/n? lol mine is Tyler and i just realized this but if you want i could probably get us access to the lift at my school due to being and agriculture/tech student which means you would have to drive here but hell i think that'd be almost cake if we could use it, i got to thinking about that today cuz i looked at it and i could almost guarintee the passenger side bolts are going to be a real PAIN IN THE BUTT from laying on the ground and probably not even accessable from the top just thought id let you know, whatever you feel most comfortable doing man

My name is Chris. Did you get all your parts in yet? I would not have a problem doing it there but I work on the weekends and have school on the weekdays so we would have to find a time. I have to work this weekend but I think I requested next weekend off, and that may be the only time I can drive down there to do it. Let me know.
