I took a vacation day at work for this upcoming wednesday, and I plan on going down to Muncie to see if I can break into the 12's. The weather has been awesome lately, so I am optimistic. Anyone else planning on going to the track? This is my first time going to Muncie this year, mainly because of work, but I went a bunch of times last year.

 

Hey, it's about time you make it to Muncie. I'll be there tonight if I can get somebody to pull my trailer for me. I hit a deer w/ my truck and am missing a headlight. I think my cousin can pull it for me. I'll be there w/ my red IROC w/ white doors running 13.0's and 12.90's.

 

Nice seeing you there Jubba...your car is running good and is damn consistant too. I ended up running my 12 second timeslip and I also got 3rd place in the trophy brackets......so all in all I had a really good night.

Do you ever go to Muncie on Saturdays? I think me and my buddy might head down again this Saturday if the weather is nice.

 

Congrats on the 12 second pass and the trophy. I don't usually run on Sat. b/c I work almost every one. I am off tomorrow though so I might try to go since my car was dead on Wednesday. I got a total of 6 passes and my cousin made 3. I don't have the slips in front of me for the mph but they were.

Man that thing is consistent. Weather is suppose to be really cool saturday, so that is one of the reasons I wanna go. I am probably 90% sure that I am going, but something could come up. I think I might pull a few things off the car and see if I can get it to run 12's a little more consistantly.

Wish I could go with ya guys, but I have the Nat. Guard next weekend. One thing is for sure though, this weather is awesome for drag racing. I ran 3 more 12 second passes tonight at Muncie and got a trap of 107 mph. I was pretty stunned at the trap, but it was only like 50 degrees out which helps. I think it's just me going sunday shootin for the 11. In july I went 12.2's with the 150 shot. So I think with the cooler air and 175 shot shouldn't be a problem if the rear holds.

 

Yea I think you should hit 11's for sure....definately have the power. Do those MT's hook up for you or are you still spinning some off the line?

 

I forgot that I have some stuff going on this weekend so it looks like i'll be going next sunday the 23rd. If you want to go just get ahold of me. And Mark if you want to shoot for that bolt on record i'll give you some help, I think we can pull it off or come close.

 

I might be down for 41 the 23rd....not sure yet, cause I kinda need to save up for a winter vehicle....and gas gets really expensive....heck I musta spent dang near 100 dollars just going down to muncie last saturday. I'll let you know if I plan on going or not in the following week. As for the bolt on record I am still up in the air, it would be much easier just to cam it, or if I don't sell my N20, just spray it.....but right now I really don't know. Seems like every week I change my mind on what I want to do...
