So, how was the turn out at Muncie last night ??? I heard it was pretty wild. I couldn't make it down but a friend of mine was running a black 80 - 81 Z28. I think he ran a 15.05 or something. I also had a buddy enter his truck in the burnout contest. Let me know how you all did.

Yea the turnout was pretty good and we had a good time. I remember seeing the 81 z28, a guy we went up with had one that was pretty similar to it. Overall it was fun and i got a couple of runs in, although im not too happy with them.

It was fricking crazy, saw lots of stuff catch of fire, lots of cool cars, and even some bush (in the "bikini" contest) I ran a 13.84@102....which is up 3 mph with a cutout intake tray and fan switch

BTW, the highlight of the night was the kid with the 03 Cobra (10 second car, Kenny Belle Supercharger, 200 shot ((daddy's car))) that was so into his music at the line he missed the camaro next to him taking off about 2 seconds before he did....

Ya, things were pretty wild, then next one in June is it? I am not sure but anyway the old Aurora managed a 15.8 @ 90 mph...hehe terrible 60 ft times, 2.5 or something like that. Ya, that 03 cobra never caught that Z either, so it wasnt that imporessive to me

 

Did you guys see that black supra, it was running 13.1 @ 132 spinning all the way through third. I really wish it wasn't that busy and we really didn't need to have the fights. The best I ran was a 13.6 @ 105.

 

Ya, I talked to that guy, his best pass was 12.1 but he was trapping 135 plus, that is crazy. Just think if he had traction

My best run was a 14.49 @99 mph Not too happy with it, but then that just gives me more excuses to start modding it up. I had the blue 97 z with white stripes.

What were your 60 ft times? with a 99 mph trap speed, you should be a little quicker....

 

60 ft on that run was a 2.28, i was power braking and maybe shouldnt have, because i wasnt getting any traction on the launch.

ya, shouldnt have done that...stalling it up without an actual higher stall converter usually leads to your right foot going before the left, and a nice little burnout off the line

 

Luke I drive a red 93 z with black hard top. It also has the big block hood and black 6 star wheels. I was there with markymark and a red/orange 96 TA.
