UPDATE: DYNO DAY is on SATURDAY, the 25th 10.00 AM.

I'm planning on stopping by at Dan Mroz's shop (www.mrozcompleteauto.com) during the first two weeks of June to get my car retuned and also another board member's car. We were going to do it during a weekday, but if we can get a few more people, Dan will open the shop on a Saturday.

The dyno time rates were $100 per car last time and tuning will be $225 for LT1/LS1 (a little more for FI applications), $250 for TPI/92-93 LT1.
Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll setup the date with Dan.

FYI, The shop should be within an hour or so drive from Chicago.

 

I am in need of a good dyno tune. Your mail order tune is working pretty well, but it needs some fine tuning.

So for a 95 LT1 it would be a flat $325?

What date were you thinking?

 

For previous full tune customers, it will be $50 less.

 

I'll poke around and see if anyone I know is in need of a tune.

Yea, it'll probably be on a Saturday. Most likely the 11th.

 

Can you remove the speed limiter on a 95 lt1 caprice? A buddy of mine would like to have that removed while your out this way. Also if it helps to get a saturday, I will bring my car out for a few pulls but I don't need it tuned.

cool, the we will bring the caprice for the speed limiter removed.. I couldn't get the cam kit for the ls1 so I just need to have my fans come on at a lower temp so I can have you do that while it's there, and I will bring the lt1 car for some dyno pulls. If you know anyone or you can do this, my buddy needs to have a 5.0 stang tuned with his anderson pms.

 

hey ion, i am going to bring you my 95 that needs tuned for the different gear so it will shift when it is supposed to. maybe bring my 93 out to make sure the tune is still on the money.

Dan called me and told me he will be unavailable on the 11th and 18th, but he said he will DEFINETELY be available on the 25th. I set it up for that day.

i would be in to do it on the 18th. its a 5 hour drive but i have famliy in Lowell IN so its an excuse to drive and see family.... i just need to know the date for sure
