i just got warned for the second time for not having a front plate im just wondering if anyone knows how much it would be if i got a ticket the next time. i live in MN. i really dont wanna put a front plate on there ugly as hell. thanks

 

$75 in illinois, its just a mandatory hardware violation ticket

 

$0 if your smart about it. Get a ticket. When you get home tape it on take picture. Remove plate immediately afterward. Take picture to court. Case dropped.

 

when i went to court for a speeding ticket there was a guy who got a ticket for no front license plate. He did the exact same thing only the judge asked him "is that tape" and the guy just admitted he taped it on and payed the 75 bucks.

 

What a Tard. Let me guess he used masking tape around the plate. I taped it from behind when I got mine. Never even questioned it twice.

I'm in Minnesota and i got one about 10 uears ago in my 83 T/A i don't know how much it was but i only ended up paying $20. i told the cops at the station (the ticket was left on the car at a park and ride) that when i came out of my house in the morning my plate was laying on the ground and the bracket was gone and i had to order a new one from Pontiac. i even had the plate in the front window.

about 3 years ago i got pulled over 3 times in one day by 3 different cops in my 93 Camaro, i decided it wasn't worth the hassle and have had one on ever since, even after i had the Formula painted last year and cried when i bolted the bracket into the front cover and new paint.

 

My wife just got a ticket for no front plate and it was $100.00. I put the front plate on and still got the shaft at court. If you get the same ticket within 6 months it goes on your record and is $150.

 

here in iowa its like 53 bucks give or take a few, but its not a moving violation, ussually the only cops that give those tickets are the state patrol.

 

Prices seem to vary a lot by state. Anyone know what it is here in MN. Yes i know the midwest forum doesnt exactly say MN but its the closest i got. thanks again

 

I got a ticket from a cop when the car was parked in front of my house for 25 bucks. Now that there was street cleaning i have gotten tagged twice in 2 days for no front plate. I took pics of the car and messed with the dates on the camera. the next day (today) i had another one. but these are 50 bucks each and they are from meter maids. those bastages I installed the front plate on my car now with a smoked front cover. once i get my billet grill i will not install the front plate, no way no how
