Hello, i have a 1997 Z28, and i am in Darien, IL. I need to re program my speedo, anyone have any kind of thing that could do this (hypertech, slp, etc...)? If so, i would be willing to pay you some $$ to do so. Thanks

K, i got a question though. What will be exactly off after the gear exchange? And will it be safe to drive?

 

After a gear exchange, your mph will be off, and your corresponding shift points will be off (in an A4) until you get it reprogrammed. A Hypertech cannot be borrowed, since it's locked into a car's VIN #. They can be shared, but only after the other car has the stock programming put back in.
