I'm in chicago where we get like 30ft of snow and a foot of salt on the road to help us corode our cars. I've always had a interest in this exhaust cutout system but never actually bought one because of this reason. I'm thinking of installing this on my STS-V right after the cats and I do drive the car this time of year, not in actual snow but salt and all other car. How reliable are these cutouts?

 

if you get race ready performance cutouts they are very reliable! they have a life time arranty should you have any problems though! (ive had sets on several cars and no problems)

 

Mine was extremely reliable until I smashed it into the ground over a bump :P
