I was wondering if there are any guys around here that would like to meet up maybe Sat night? I was thinking 4 corners for the guys that know where it is...i think it is 75th and Lemont Rd but i am not sure...now i am looking for a new spot to kind of chill and hang out with fellow F-Body guys so...if u guys want to meet let me know.

Also i dont know how many of u go to where they have street races on Pulaski..well me and my buddies went down there tonight, and i got my first ticket...first off i go down there to watch the races

i do not race there, but today there was no one there, but the Chicago Police Department stopped me anyways and the cop made me give him my keys and everything. Well my buddy was following me in his 85 Z, and they pulled him over also...

so we finally got our tickets and everything and we left, we stopped at a gas station, and looked at are tickets, the cop gave us a ticket for Negligent(sp?) driving and Squealing tires...which we were not doing either, we just pulled around a corner and they stopped us...i was SO MAD so now i have a $75 ticket it sucks but oh well...

That would be cool. I could hang out sometime. I went to 75th & Lombard one night and nobody would even talk to me. They seemed a little arrogant. I hung out with some pretty cool guys just up 75th toward Naperville the same night. They were in the Kinkos parking lot.

and yes when u were there friday i heard the cars sucked...but two weeks ago there was a handful of fbods....over 10 easily probably somewhere close to 20......

And your point is? I live 5 min away, so i've known since it was starting to become a hangout place that its infested with imports and a bunch of dorks...

All we did was stop by and the reason i wanted to go b/c i was meeting a friend up there from the board. If you ask brad, you'll know that we stayed there for less then a total of 20min...

So dont pretend like u know more about that place then i do...

There are a few nice fbodies, but they are smart and leave after a while. You show up, walk around, chill for a few , then leave. Thats basically the best part of it.

The only reason why i like going up there is 2 reasons. Some of my friends go there sometimes and b/c i know my car is better then those dorky kids.

 

some of those dorky kids will smoke you tho....

and yes i agree with some parts of that....dont scare away the fbod guys by telling them its a gay import place when last year in the summer i went there and there was over 200 cars....at least 7 dodge vipers etc etc....

 

Again, your point is? You think that speed is everything man? Think again, who gives a flying fuc* how fast their car is or even how fast yours or anyone elses. I'm taking about the *type* of people that go there. and FYI , it'll NEVER be like it used to. Before it use to stretch in the parking lot by MC sports all the way to Dominicks. Yea, you'd see EVERY kind of car there, but not no more. Now if you arent parked at McD'S, cops kick you out.

OMFG, Lets get one more opinion on this stupid topic of Barington and irving park.........IT SUCKS, 80% of the cars there are crappy imports, not cool supras or 300zx's. But POS civics and saturns. I to live about 10 minutes away and i dont even waste my gas to go over there, but if im CLOSE then i stop buy to see if there is something different. Most of the time its just the same ole guys. No racing, just **** talking and annoying imports.

BUT: sometimes you get those rare nights with a lot of fbodys, maybe we can have one with some of the camaroz28 guys and the f-bodytech.com guys (theres a lot of guys from chicago on there)

ya i know it used to stretch out to mc sports and dominicks last year....and there should be nights like that again this summer....the cops have always caused trouble there thats nothing new....
